Jade Tailor and I have known each other for close to a decade, but recently connected through social media. When I was asked if I wanted to do her makeup for a 90’s inspired photoshoot, my immediate response was something like, ” Ummm YESSS”. The shoot was everything I imagined and all that I hoped for. Throwback 90’s jams were played throughout the whole Lady Gun Magazine shoot. The team absolutely amazing to work with, and the photos are insane!!! Take a look!

“V-day is a movement: an organized effort to finally end violence against women. V-Day is a vision: we see a civilization where women live in freedom and safety. V-Day is a spirit: affirming that life should be alive creating and thriving rather than surviving or recovering from terrible atrocities. V-Day is a catalyst: by raising wide public awareness of the issue, it will reinvigorate efforts already under way and commence new initiatives in publicity, education, and law. V-Day is a vital ongoing process: we proclaim Valentine’s Day as V’day until the violence against women stops, and the it will become Victory Day.”

This past January, I had the pleasure of dolling up both Jade Tailor and Brittany Curran who are both regulars on SyFy’s The Magicians . They are both incredible actresses and insanely beautiful! It’s a dream to be able to pain their faces. Be sure to catch these beauties on SyFy every Wednesday 9/8c!!!
On the Sears commercial, I had the opportunity to create the fake makeup tattoo on one of the actors, and worked both hair and makeup for the entire shoot.
